Doors of Cromarty
A chat during lockdown with my 79 year old Dad, Iain James Matheson, a landscape painter of many years, resulted in this joint project to paint some of our favourite doors in Cromarty, a place that is close to our hearts.
During the lockdowns we weren’t able to visit Cromarty so painting some of its landmark buildings and house doors was the next best thing. And now that we’ve started we’ve noticed many other lovely and interesting doors so watch this space for more!
If you are interested in any of the paintings as a print or all 12 of them in a calendar for 2022 please get in touch via the contact form
Thank you!
